The first boilerless professional espresso module
Heylo rethinks the espresso machine from the ground up: no boiler, no idle heat, no thermal lag. Water is heated on demand by induction, at the exact moment of extraction, giving every shot – the first of the afternoon or the hundredth of the morning rush – the same precise temperature and pressure. Built by VEA Group, the same industrial family behind Elektra, with over 100 years of coffee engineering, 60+ countries of presence and 100+ registered patents.

There is no boiler in this machine – and that is the whole point. An induction element heats water only at the point of extraction, dynamically, between 80 and 98°C. No stored thermal mass means no idle energy use and no residual heat carried over between shots: every single cup is brewed with genuinely fresh water, never sitting in contact with a hot metal tank.

Every barista pulls a shot slightly differently – unless the machine itself remembers the recipe. Each Heylo group head stores up to 100 custom recipes and runs as an independent brewing unit, with full control over temperature, flow and pressure profiles. A Smart Alarm flags when a recipe drifts and needs adjusting, so quality never depends on who is behind the bar that day.

Heylo is not one machine with several groups – it is several independent machines that happen to sit side by side. Each module runs on its own standard 13A plug, so there is no electrician and no dedicated circuit to install. Start with one group and add another the moment the business grows. If a module ever needs attention, a technician swaps it on-site in minutes and services it off-site – every other module keeps pulling shots without interruption.

A traditional boiler runs hot all day, whether it is serving a queue or waiting for the first customer. Heylo only spends energy when a shot is actually being pulled: between shots, consumption is close to nothing; outside opening hours, it is exactly zero. Heylo reports up to 70–90% less energy use than a comparable boiler machine – based on 200 coffees a day, that works out to roughly 5,038 kWh and 1,043 kg of CO&sub2; saved every year, plus no annual boiler inspection and no descaling cycle to plan around.
