For over 100 years, Barmelweid has been a small community world – a clinic and employer, a recreation area, a healthcare facility, a nature reserve and an educational center. In 2014, due to a lack of space, it became necessary to start a comprehensive renovation and expansion project, which includes a new public restaurant and a hotel.

Thanks to the four Franke A1000, sixteen A800 and four A600 coffee machines located throughout the premises, all patients, staff and visitors can enjoy a barista-quality coffee creation with a magnificent view of the neighboring valley from anywhere in the facility.

A number of features and functions were decisive for Rebholz in switching to Franke, including the innovative, integrated technologies of the A800 and A1000 coffee machines.

The A1000 is also equipped with two grinders and a three-boiler system for hot water, coffee preparation and steam. Barmelweid also opted for a Taste Station.
